Company Profile

Wave Therapies was formed by Dr Toni Van Lennep, and Jennifer Kirkham, out of a desire to offer bedwetters and expectant Mothers a wider range of options than they were currently being offered.

Bedwetting:

At Wave Therapies, we believe, based on the available research that drugs should not be first-line treatment for bedwetting. Our philosophy is to give families of bedwetters information and advice so that they can make informed choices about the best treatment for their child.  We treat bedwetters with an enuresis alarm which teaches them to wake in response to a full bladder.  We also offer a range of bedding protection so that families can cope with the inconvenience of wet beds without becoming frustrated and angry with their child.

We have the support of leading Urologists and Paediatricians who believe as we do that a non-pharmocological approach to treating bedwetters should be tried first.

Obstetric T.E.N.S.

South Africa has one of the highest rates of Caesarean sections in the world.  We believe that many South African women would like to strive for an active birth, but end up with C. sections, because they are not informed enough, or supported enough to manage their baby's birth actively.

There is a world-wide trend towards natural childbirth, and we want South African women to have this choice available to them.
