Enuresis Alarm Therapy

How it works:

An Enuresis Alarm works by waking the bedwetter up when they start wetting.  With regular use, the programme teaches the sleeping brain to recognise a full bladder and respond appropriately.  This may mean that the child learns to hold on until morning, or that s/he wakes up to void urine. Every person is different, but on average it takes between 8 and 12 weeks to achieve complete dryness.

Dri-Sleeper Enuresis Alarm

The Dri-sleeper consists of a small moisture detector that clips into a thin panty liner that is placed in the child's underwear. It is attached by means of a wire passing under the pyjama top, to a flat alarm which is pinned to the pyjamas near the shoulder.
When the child starts wetting, the alarm goes off and wakes up the child, or the parent, who will then wake the child.

Pricing

The price of the Dri-Sleeper Enuresis Alarm is SA Rand 450 including postage and VAT.  This treatment is covered by most medical aid schemes.

If you would like to learn to be dry at night, fill in the client information form, by clicking here on Bedwetter information and we will contact you to advise you on your next step.
